Prithviraj Ties Wedding knot to BBC Journalist

Prithviraj’s marriage with BBC journalist Supriya Menon was a private affair with just 60 members attending it. Guests without invitations not to be allowed inside, mobile phones should be confiscated and no clicks from cameras were the order of day at the marriage ceremony of Prithviraj-Supriya Menon. The young icon of Malayalam film industry Prithviraj entered nuptials with Mumbai based BBC journalist Supriya Menon at Kandath Heritage Villa at Thenkurissy. The actor’s mother Mallika Sukumaran, brother Indrajith, his wife Poornima and children and other close relatives were present.

More than dozen of journalists were blocked from entering inside and soon after the marriage the newlywed couple left without meeting the journalists.

Much humiliated journalists and photographers questioned Prithviraj’s mother Mallika on this gesture and she said that it is a private affair and they weren’t invited and on May 1st, 2011 the grand reception will have almost everyone from Hindi and South Indian film industry gracing over the occasion.
